Mi Tradición is a family panadería. Jesus “Chuy” Guevara comes from a family of bakers — his father and grandfather baked before him — and built the shop from Panadería Chuy, with recipes from Puebla. The Torta Milanesa combines Mexico, Italy, Argentina, and Texas between the slices: thinly sliced fried beef, lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado, jalapeño, beans, and chipotle mayo, all in a home-baked bolillo. That bolillo isn't sourced elsewhere, it's baked in-house, and you can taste it.
